Mauricio Pochettino celebrates Chelsea vs Leicester City in recent Instagram post

Mauricio Pochettino was very excited when Chelsea secured their place in the FA Cup semi-final after beating Leicester City 4-2. The Blues will face Manchester City in the next round at Wembley.

Following the win, the Argentine manager posted a story of himself celebrating the win with the caption ‘’going to Wembley again, with this passion, ’’ and tagged Chelsea’s official account and his coaching staff, Jesus Perez, Toni Jimenez, and Sebastiano Pochettino.

However, the win over Leicester wasn’t smooth sailing, despite Chelsea going into the interval with a 2-0 lead. The Blues surrendered the advantage shortly after the second half began courtesy of two goals from Leicester attacker Stephy Mavididi and an own goal by Axel Disasi.

Carney Chukwuemeka and Noni Madueke, who came on as replacements, gave the Blues hope as their confidence declined and their advantage dwindled. Initially, the former Aston Villa midfielder scored a goal with Cole Palmer, and then Madueke’s solo goal made sure the Blues would return to Wembley.

However, the West Londoners will have the toughest test as they will face reigning treble winners Manchester City, who have been in terrific form. The Blues record with City this season hasn’t seen them lose any games.

A huge amount of credit must go to Pochettino, who has done splendidly since arriving. Taking over a team that was mismanaged and appeared feeble and disjointed wasn’t an easy challenge, but he has made every effort to maintain the team’s positive mentality. Even though he may have made bad decisions occasionally, his job performance has significantly improved the team.

Furthermore, it will be the Argentine manager’s second consecutive domestic cup tournament if we make it to the FA Cup final. We have to back the manager for his efforts at the club because he deserves recognition for raising the Blues to a competitive level and keeping their hopes up for winning a domestic cup competition.
