Shocking Reports From Fulham – Chelsea To Be Involved In A £75m Transfer Move

Many may have thought of Eden Hazard after reading the headline but in fact it is Thibaut Courtois, who is the point of interest here. The Belgian international has had a below average season as he missed a major chunk of it through injury. However he seems to be in two minds about his future with Chelsea.

It was speculated that the player will be courted by Real Madrid as the 10 times European champions turn their attention away from David De Gea. However Fulham Chronicle has reported that Barcelona are more serious about landing Courtois than their bitter rivals.

Marc Andre Ter-Stegen’s future is uncertain at Barcelona as the player has publicly expressed his desire to look for first team opportunities elsewhere. From the looks of it, he may land up in Liverpool to replace Simon Mignolet and in turn Barcelona may be forced to bid for Courtois. Chelsea are expected to demand £75million to chase away the Catalans. However things may boil down to the player himself who has kept mum about his decision to stay with the club.

“I do not say ‘yes’, I do not say ‘no’. I do not know. I still have three years on my contract. We must see what Chelsea want.” Courtois said in an interview.
