There are talks in the halls of Stamford Bridge about a major overhaul in Chelsea forward line. We have heard earlier that Radamel Falcao may return to his parent club AS Monaco and Loic Remy may move to Galatasaray. If such is the case, then who will be there alongside Diego Costa in Chelsea the lineup?
Guus Hiddink would like to answer, Jamie Vardy. The Leicester City striker has scored 15 goals in 20 games so far this season and is almost double of all three of Chelsea strikers combined. Of course Vardy is not the first one to be rumored to have interest from Chelsea. Other popular names in the news are Jackson Martinez, Saido Berahino and Emmanuel Adebayor.
Jamie Vardy is also said to have attracted interest from Manchester United, who too have been goal shy this season. It is unlikely that Claudio Ranieri, Leicester City manager will allow Vardy to leave mid season, especially when they have built a remarkable momentum thus far. But Chelsea are known for spending big bucks to draw players and Jamie Vardy with his current form is definitely one of those possibility.
