Antoine Griezmann has been very impressive this season with 20 goals to his name. Naturally he has attracted interest from various clubs including Chelsea. Recently the French striker has spoken up regarding the speculations on his transfer.
He happened to mention that the reason why he is at Atletico because of the manager Diego Simeone. The Argentine is regarded as one of the youngest and most promising manager who achieved the feat of beating Barca and Real to La Liga two years ago. Griezmann is willing to stay at Atletico for Simeone despite some big clubs trying to pry him away. That is why he will reject Chelsea offers.
Interestingly though, with Guss Hiddink being only a temporary manager and many expecting Diego Simeone to be the next Chelsea boss it will be a curious matter if Simeone comes to Chelsea. In that case, Chelsea can probably get a double deal of manager and a player.
