The last time Chelsea won the league title was more than five years ago. Since then the Blues have seen drastic changes in their squad and owners. No Player has been at the club since the last time we won the Premier League as the club sold plenty of them and a few of them retired. The Likes of John Terry and Frank Lampard hung their boots while N’Golo Kante and Cesar Azpilicueta left the club.
Since winning the championship, Chelsea have also undergone ownership change as a result of Roman Abramovich being forced to quit the team because of his connections to Russian President Vladimir Putin. As American businessman Todd Boehly assumed control of the club and introduced his own rules, a new era began.
After selling a number of seasoned players, he spent a total of £1 billion rebuilding Chelsea. The club has also seen new owners handing out long-term contracts to avoid breaking FFP regulations.
The club changed four managers the previous year as they ended 12th in the Premier League, and now Mauricio Pochettino, the club’s newly hired manager, has started the new campaign with one win, three draws, and a loss.

However, the Blues under Thomas Tuchel made it to the League Cup and FA Cup finals but lost both matches on penalties to Liverpool.
As they couldn’t advance far in the competition last season, they had one of their worst seasons. They did, however, begin their Carabao campaign this season under Mauricio Pochettino with a 2-1 victory over AFC Wimbledon, and they want to finish the season with domestic cups.

Chelsea won their last Champions League title in the 2020–21 campaign under Thomas Tuchel’s management after firing Frank Lampard in January 2021 due to an unfavourable stretch of results.
It was difficult to imagine how Tuchel would guide this team to any success during that time since he had just led Paris Saint-Germain to the 2019–2020 Champions League final, where they fell to Bayern Munich by a score of 1-0.
The German manager performed a respectable job of correcting the issue, turning the Blues into a powerful team, and they went on to win the Champions League by defeating Manchester 1-0 in the championship game.
