Chelsea are working on a move for Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface
Chelsea are said to be laying the groundwork for a move for Victor Boniface in the upcoming summer transfer window. The Blues are said to have made the Bayer Leverkusen ace their top target according to a report by SportBILD as they attempt to intensify a move for the 23-year-old.
The Londoners have already spent money for fun since they were taken over by Todd Boehly in the summer of 2022.
Despite spending much money, Chelsea still have a few problems that needs resolving on the pitch. Striker is said to be one of those positions that Chelsea are looking to upgrade in the summer transfer window. Stamford Bridge side are already linked with multiple players from around Europe to fill the number nine spot.
Striker problems at Bridge
Chelsea have had an underperforming display from their strikers in the ongoing campaign.
Nicolas Jackson has seemed underwhelming in front of goal since his move from Villarreal despite scoring seven goals and providing three assists in the Premier League this season.
Christopher Nkunku’s involvement has been limited to only seven League appearances this season owing to an injury. Academy product Armando Broja has just scored just once in the first half of the season before he was shipped on loan to Fulham.

Chelsea have already been linked with a move for Victor Osimhen. Now they are also looking at his international teammate Victor Boniface.
Victor Boniface is part of Xabi Alonso’s high-flying Bayer Leverkusen. He has scored 16 goals and provided 8 assists with 23 appearances across all competitions.
