Inter Milan are discontent with Chelsea star Romelu Lukaku who remains unresponsive to their message
Inter Milan are not happy with Chelsea star Romelu Lukaku, who has not replied to the former manager and teammates as Juventus have now joined the pursuit of his services this summer transfer window.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, (h/t Daily Mail), Inter are annoyed by the attitude of the Belgian striker, as the former manager and teammates have yet to hear from him. This comes after the 30-year-old has been given more time away from Chelsea while other players have arrived for pre-season.
Juventus are also keen on signing the Belgian striker and have offered £32 million, with an additional £1.5 million for the forward. However, it is understood that Lukaku will not join Juventus out of respect for Inter.
Inter are also open to offering the same amount, but now Lukaku’s attitude is holding them back as the striker has yet to communicate with his former colleagues. It is believed now that the striker has opened talks with Juventus and spoke to the club through his lawyers, which could hinder Inter’s interest in him and see them drop their interest.
Chelsea are hoping to get rid of the forward this summer. The veteran star has shown little signs of wanting to stay put and a parting of the ways is the best way forward for all parties. Whether it be Juventus or Inter, Chelsea shouldn’t mind as long as they get a decent transfer fee.
Given Inter’s fervent desire to sign the striker and their commitment to doing so, Juventus’s entry to the fray represents a major challenge. However, regardless of who he joins, it will be profitable for us. Both are providing a respectable deal, but Chelsea must now choose which offer it will accept to put the Lukaku saga to rest.

Since Armando Broja and Nicolas Jackson are young and will require an extended period of getting accustomed to the league, Lukaku’s departure will free up space for us to recruit another striker for the following campaign. We will undoubtedly need a proficient striker in that position.
