Sturridge to return to Bolton?

published :

During his four month loan spell at Bolton, Daniel Sturridge proved what he can do when given the opportunity to play first-team football.
The ex-Manchester City trainee scored eight times in 11 starts, proving the class act that he is. With lots of new strikers being linked to the club, Andre Villas-Boas could well send Sturridge out on loan again.
Having settled in immediately at Bolton, it could be a natural club for him to return to – Especially after seeing how Sturridge had improved and how Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere developed during his loan spell.
Then, there is Owen Coyle’s ace in the pack – he is good friends with Villa-Boas, the two coach made freinds when they took their pro-licence coaching course together.
Coyle has told the national press: “Villas-Boas is a tremendous addition to the Premier League.
Before adding: “I did my pro-licence with him and really took to him.
“Daniel did very well for us last season, we’ll have to wait and see whether anything happens.” He finished by saying.
Sturridge is one for the future, a full season on loan would see him continue his development and even be ready to push for a starting place in the 2012/13 season team.
