The winger suffered an injury against West Ham United and has been sidelined for at least two months. This also means that the 22-year-old will miss the World Cup for Portugal next month.
Neto has been one of Wolves’ best players and his not travelling will come as good news to Graham Potter. While the 22-year-old is yet to score this season, he has proved to be a constant threat to the opposition.
He is not the only player who will be absent. The west Midland club will also be without striker Sasa Kalajdzic and winger Chiquinho. Hee-chan Hwang is also likely to miss the game.
While the Blues will be happy to know several of their opponents’ important players are injured, the west London club have their own set of problems. Wesley Fofana is likely to be out for a month after sustaining a knee injury during his side’s 3-0 win against AC Milan earlier this week.
Apart from the French centre-back, midfielders N’Golo Kante and Carney Chukwuemeka are also in doubt for the game against Wolves. The former has not played for the club since getting injured during the 2-2 draw against Tottenham Hotspur at home in August.

Wolves have been in very poor form, winning only one game in the league so far. The Blues meanwhile will hope to make it their third consecutive victory in all competitions tomorrow. While on paper a Chelsea victory seems the most likely result, Potter will be wise to field a strong side.
