Cesar Azpilicueta has played every minute of our Premier League campaign but the Spaniard could not lead us to a win over West Ham on Sunday.
We dominated possession against the Hammers and missed a couple of glorious chances to match Liverpool’s record of six straight wins in the league.
It was a frustrating afternoon for the travelling fans as the Hammers nearly got the win. But Andriy Yarmolenko’s header went wide and we ended up with one point from London Stadium. The draw has placed us third behind Manchester City on goal difference.
Our next Premier League clash is against table-topping Liverpool but before that, we face the Reds in the Carabao Cup midweek.
Azpilicueta should start the league game against the Reds but some Chelsea fans didn’t want the 29-year-old to be our first-choice right-back.
