Chelsea fans react as Timo Werner fires Germany to 2022 Qatar World Cup
Chelsea star Timo Werner scored a brace as European giants Germany defeated North Macedonia 4-0 to qualify for the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
It represents a good few days for the striker who also scored in Chelsea’s last game against Southampton. Often criticized for his lack of clinical finishing in Blue, Werner showed yesterday exactly what he can do on his day.
With Romelu Lukaku potentially out for the weekend, Werner’s purple patch of form could not have come at a better time for Thomas Tuchel. Hopefully, this is the turnaround he needs and can recapture the form that he showed in the Bundesliga with RB Leipzig.
Germany’s win might as well have been made at Chelsea. Blues ace Kai Havertz opened the scoring for Die Mannschaft before Werner grabbed his double.
The win was rounded off by Bayern Munich youngster Jamal Musiala, a player who came through the Blues youth system.
We now take a look at how some fans reacted to the 25-year-old striker’s impressive performance.

Werner and Havertz sent Chelsea to the Club world cup, they’ve also sent Germany to the world cup. It’s a Chelsea thing
