Transfer News: Chelsea starlet Armando Broja completes loan move to Southampton
According to news from the club’s official website, Chelsea starlet Armando Broja has completed a loan transfer to Southampton.

Broja was sent on loan last season to gain some experience at the Vitesse Arnhem, which is often a regular place for the Blues to send players on loan. He played a pivotal role with his 10 goals and 2 assists in 30 games to push Vitesse up to the fourth place. On his return, he featured for the senior side through the preseason.
The Albanian striker was handed a new contract last month as Chelsea wanted to secure his long term future at the club. However, they had plans to send him out on loan, possibly to a foreign club. Udinese and Anderlecht had approached Chelsea, as per The Athletic. But Southampton have won the race to sign him.
The Saints recently lost their star man Danny Ings to Aston Villa and need a striker to take his place. Chelsea were all too happy to allow Broja to leave on loan as they are preparing for the arrival of Romelu Lukaku. It must be noted that Southampton initially wanted Tammy Abraham on loan but were rebuffed in their approach. (h/t The Athletic)

At Southampton, he will find a few familiar faces in Tino Livramento and Dynel Simeu. The duo moved from Chelsea on permanent deals (h/t Evening Standard).
Broja would have been behind the likes of Lukaku, Timo Werner and Kai Havertz at Chelsea. Hence, this loan move to a Premier League side works well for everyone.
