Chelsea are believed to be interested in Fiorentina’s Montenegro midfielder Stevan Jovetic.
Reports in Italy suggest that Andre Villas-Boas has already sent his scouts to see him play.
There were rumours during the summer that the club would make a move for him, but there was no official move.
Sport Mediaset reported that Villas-Boas had some of his staff to watch Jovetic play in his country’s 2-1 win over Wales on Friday, and that this was the second time the Blues had been to see him.
With Chelsea and other big clubs keen on signing Jovetic has led to Fiorentina starting new contract talks in an attempt to keep him.
The Montenegro is one the best youngsters in the World football, and would be a perfect signing for Chelsea as can be play on the left wing or as a support striker but if AVB wants to sign him it is likely to cost in excess of €20million.
