Chelsea Transfer News: Roman Abramovich personally pushing for Romelu Lukaku

According to transfer news from Eurosport, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is personally pushing for Romelu Lukaku. While the Russian billionaire will back Thomas Tuchel, it has been said that he is spearheading a move that will see Lukaku return to the club.

A former Chelsea player, Lukaku spent three years at the club. He spent the second and third years of his Stamford Bridge career out on loan before leaving permanently for Everton. Nonetheless, he has managed to lift up his career to greater heights with his stint at Inter Milan.

He believes that the Belgian is the right kind of player to help Chelsea challenge for the Premier League next season. While talks have started, Man City are also after the striker. They are also said to be offering better wages.
