Chelsea News: Thomas Tuchel singles out Jorginho and Kurt Zouma after West Brom loss

According to news from Metro, Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has singled out the duo of Kurt Zouma and Jorginho after the West Brom loss. It was a rude awakening for Tuchel’s men, who were caught by a sharp West Brom side as they condemned the Blues to their first loss under the German.

Chelsea returned to action after the international break and were hoping to continue from where they left off. However, after an early lead and Thiago Silva’s sending off, things unravelled spectacularly for the Blues as West Brom made full use of the man advantage.

The lead was wiped out by half-time as we trailed 1-2. West Brom added two more to make it theirs and another goal from each side just added to the numbers. Thomas Tuchel zeroed down on two particular players after the game.

Tuchel was said to have had a meeting on Sunday to go over the loss and while specifics from that are unavailable, sources from the club told a little about it to The Athletic. Zouma and Jorginho were particularly highlighted during the meeting.

This was no doubt a very embarrassing loss at the hands of a relegation fighting team. However, the whole team, barring a few, dropped absolute stinkers.

With two crucial Champions League games and an FA Cup quarter-final to come, Thomas Tuchel will hope that this loss acts as a jolt to the squad.
