Chelsea News: Sam Allardyce claims he is jealous of Thomas Tuchel
According to news from Metro, Sam Allardyce feels jealous of Thomas Tuchel and the attacking options he has at Chelsea. The Blues are back in action on the weekend after the international break as they take on West Brom.
Lampard was let go in January after a dismal run of results, something the former City full-back did not like. Thomas Tuchel was brought in soon after and the German has revived the club and their hopes of Champions League football for next season.
Chelsea are now 4th in the league, and will play in the semi-final of the FA Cup and the quarter-final of the Champions League. With West Brom to come next, manager Sam Allardyce has spoken about the attacking riches Tuchel has at his disposal.
‘Fantastic because he’s done the right thing. Start with clean sheets and then you build from there. He’s done that absolutely magnificently. That’s not to say that Chelsea are not very entertaining, because the quality of the players they’ve got at the other end, they are, and obviously I’m very jealous about that.’

Adding to that, Allardyce was confident about nullifying that attack from Chelsea given they have shut out teams in the past. But he was a bit worried about Chelsea’s defensive nous.
The Blues have only conceded twice in 14 games and one of them was an own goal. West Brom will surely be a tricky proposition given how solid they have been.
