According to transfer news from Leeds Live, Chelsea are among the several Premier League sides chasing Daryl Dike. The Barnsley starlet has impressed a host of clubs such as Chelsea Manchester United and Leeds United.

Daryl Dike is a 20-year-old American forward who plays for Barnsley on loan from Orlando City. He started out his youth career at Oklahoma and then went on to Virginia Cavaliers. After the draft, he was picked by Orlando City FC.
Last year, he made his debut for the senior side and went on to appear in 22 games, scoring 8 times. After the MLS season was wrapped up, he moved on loan to Barnsley in the Championship.
He has adjusted well to English football and has scored 5 goals in 12 appearances for them. The striker was also in appearance against Chelsea in the FA Cup.
Dike wants to play in the Premier League some day
The youngster has grown leaps and bounds since his University days. He has already played in the MLS and the Championship at such a young age. A full international, he has 2 appearances for the USMNT already.
And, he does want to play in the Premier League someday.
“Growing up at a young age, that is what you always watch on your TV and that is what you always dream about. You see all of these phenomenal players and obviously a phenomenal league and teams as well.
It is definitely something that is within reach now, so we’re going to keep pushing for that. I’m excited.”

Chelsea are no strangers to signing American players. They have two on their books already – Matt Miazga and Christian Pulisic.
While Miazga has not gotten a chance to impress, Pulisic has impressed in bits and pieces. Dike looks like a real talent and Chelsea should try to snap him up.
