Chelsea could face Everton without Thiago Silva and Tammy Abraham
Chelsea will take on Everton next in a Monday night kick-off as the Blues aim to extend their prolific start to life under Thomas Tuchel. They have now won 7 of their last 10 games, swatting Liverpool in their last game by 1-0.
It will be their Merseyside neighbours now as Chelsea aim to cement a top-four spot ahead of Everton. Carlo Ancelotti’s side are also in the race for top-four and this is bound to be a huge clash. Below we take a look at some injury updates on Chelsea players ahead of the game (h/t Football.london).
Thiago Silva
The former PSG man was taken off in the Tottenham game with a thigh issue and has been an absentee since. So far, he has missed seven games for the Blues. He has returned to training but is unlikely to be risked. Thomas Tuchel confirmed the same ahead of the Liverpool game. The Everton game could come too soon for him but we could get to see him in some capacity against Leeds United.
Callum Hudson-Odoi
The youngster was withdrawn at half-time against Manchester United and was later shown that he was sitting on the benches with an ice pack strapped around his left thigh.
While Thomas Tuchel did confirm it was a minor injury, he also said that the winger was taken off for tactical reasons. He did not play a part against Liverpool despite being on the bench. However, it might have been some due to some other reason.

Tammy Abraham
The lanky striker has been out of the side for 2 matches now. Tuchel confirmed that he was dealing with an ankle injury and wouldn’t be pushed into the game too soon. He could miss this game as well and return against Leeds.
