Reece James: Chelsea star’s car robbed while out feeding children
According to The Mirror, Chelsea star Reece James had his car robbed while out feeding children.
The English international is attempting to raise £100,000 for over half a million meals. He returned to his car after the Felix Project event on Wednesday to find the window of his vehicle smashed. (h/t Sky Sports)
The Felix Project is an organisation which collects unwanted food and redistributes it to help vulnerable folks from going hungry across the UK.
Robbers fled with gifts intended for charity. The Blues star was suppsoed to donate the gifts later in the day.
A no-nonsense player, James showed the same attitude as he posted a message to his robbers on Instagram.
James posted a picture of the smashed window with the message ‘what goes around comes around’. Given that they have stolen gifts intended for the impoverished, we have to agree with the Blues star’s sentiments.
Similar to Manchester United star Marcus Rashford, James too has been doing his bit to help the hungry be fed.
The England ace donated £10,000 in cash for the cause and has been personally busy delivering meals to those in need.
The defender’s contribution goes back to a year and a half as confirmed by Marcus Roberts of The Felix Project. (h/t The Mirror)

It is disheartening to see that what was robbed were intended for people in need. We hope the robbers are apprehended early, especially given their efforts in denying the vulnerable some festive cheer.
