The disagreement between Branislav Ivanovic and Chelsea FC may turn out o be beneficial for Inter Milan as the club has been eyeing to sign the Serbian for some time now. Ivanovic’s contract with Chelsea is set to expire this summer and the blues have not yet approached the player for the renewal of the same. While, on the other hand, Milan is ready with the type of contract the Serbian seeks.
Rated 5th by Sqawka amongst his teammates and popular for his aerial ability, Ivanovic scored 31 goals and has been involved in 29 assists in favour of Chelsea.
Ivanovic is looking for a multi-year contract which is against the policies of Chelsea. who give only a year’s extension to a player above 30, whereas the Serbian will be 32 coming February. This uncertainty between the club and the player has only helped in making the Italian’s offer of 2 year’s contract which is double of what Chelsea can offer if they are willing to.
