Chelsea sort out yet another departure with 29-year-old closing in on Premier League move

In their pursuit of offloading the unwanted players from the squad and raising the much-needed funds to fuel the potential signings of their desired targets, Chelsea are giving it their all to make some transfer moves in the final stages of the summer transfer window.

While the Blues are expected to make a number of deals this week, one of their stellar players is likely to join another Premier League club. It is worth noting that if completed, it will be a loan spell for this season only, and the goalkeeper is likely to extend his contract with the Pensioners for the year.

Bournemouth close in on loaning Kepa Arrizabalaga

According to the respected Journalist Fabrizio Romano, Bournemouth are reportedly reaching an agreement with Chelsea to sign goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga on a loan spell for the season.

The key details are, however, still to be discussed but the move is likely to happen as both parties have agreed. The 29-year-old spent the last season on a loan spell to La Liga club Real Madrid and was also a part of their Champions League winning squad but was not retained by the Spanish Giants.

It is worth noting that the Spanish international, who is the most expensive goalkeeper in history, marking a stellar €80m move from Atheltic Club to Stamford Bridge back in 2018, has not been considered a crucial part of Chelsea’s project by their current boss Enzo Maresca.

Bournemouth are reportedly reaching an agreement with Chelsea to sign the goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga on a loan spell for the season.

While Chelsea are still pushing hard to bring the Nigerian sensation Victor Osimhen to their ranks, this potential loan move could help them bring at least a bit of financial liberty. On the other hand, a potential move to the Vitality Stadium could act as a career revival move for Kepa, as the Ondarroa-born footballer has struggled to make a permanent place for himself in The Pensioners’ ranks.

While the Spaniard is likely to happily agree to this deal, Chelsea will also be eager to get this potential move done as soon as possible.
