Chelsea legend replies to Gabriel Agbonlahor’s hilarious joke on photo of Bentley

Chelsea legend John Terry and Gabriel Agbonlahor show their funny side on social media

Former Aston Villa player Gabriel Agbonlahor dropped a funny comment on Chelsea legend John Terry‘s Instagram post. The former English defender posted a picture inside a car with the caption ‘Off to play some padel’. Agbonlahor commented on the post that Terry is showing off his Bentley car by showing the logo on the headrest. Terry replied with laughing-out-loud emojis for the comment.

The England legends had a remarkable journey in the English-top-flight league for a long time. John Terry and Gabriel Agbonlahor have played against each other for many years in the Premier League.

Terry was the heart of the West London club for more than two decades. The veteran English defender started his relationship with Chelsea in 1997 by joining the academy. He has played 717 games for the Blues and scored 67 goals and 27 assists across all competitions. He was a nightmare for the Premier League strikers and the defender’s aerial prowess, coupled with his ability to read the game, made him a formidable opponent for any world-class striker.

Terry has also captained the West London club for a long period of time. He has also led the Blues to win five Premier League titles, 5 FA Cups, and a Champion League title. Terry was not just a player for the Chelsea fans, they believed their captain more than any player in the squad, and the English defender has given his every ounce of energy for the West London club. After 20 years of journey with the club, Terry bid adieu to Stamford Bridge and joined Aston Villa in 2017 before he retired from the game.

Agbonlahor was a Villa academy graduate and a formidable striker for the club for more than 10 years. The Villa legend was a speedy striker and the player holds the record of the club’s all-time leading Premier League goalscorer with 73 goals. He was a star striker for the club, scoring 86 goals and 54 goals in 322 games for Villa across all competitions.  Despite never winning a major trophy, the Villa legend’s name will forever be etched in the club’s history as one of their greatest players in the Premier League era.

Despite their differing positions and backgrounds, the two players formed a close friendship during the national team meetings.
