The 25-year-old enjoyed a productive season with Chelsea, with the Blues finishing sixth in the Premier League. Despite a poor start to the last campaign, the former Brighton & Hove Albion fullback bounced back in great form, and his performance has seen him get called up for Euro 2024.

Cucurella is one of the most well-known fullbacks because of his aggressive defence, which also makes him a formidable left-back and an outstanding player due to his ability to make decisive tackles. He may now do the same role for the national team after being utilised as an inverted fullback by Mauricio Pochettino. He’s reached a particular level of game refinement.
His performance has been recognised by the national team coach, and now he will have a big chance to further prove his mettle. Spain are one of the favourites to win the competition given their massive young talented pool of players, who have all the pedigree to perform at the top level of football competitions.
