Marcel Sabitzer imitates Chelsea star Cole Palmer’s celebration after the winner vs Netherlands in Euro 2024

Chelsea star Cole Palmer seems to have had a big influence with his famous celebration and now it has been taken over by many football players. Palmer has one of the best celebrations when he scores a goal and folds his hand like he is feeling cold, which goes on to denote that he is ‘Cold Palmer,’

And now Borussia Dortmund midfielder Marcel Sabitzer did a similar celebration after he scored the winning goal against the Netherlands and steered them to a 3-2 victory. Premier League account on Instagram posted the photo of Sabitzer and Palmer with a caption, ”Looks familiar @marcel7sabitzer. The Austrian midfielder celebrated his late winner against the Netherlands to help them top Group D at the Euros.

Meanwhile, Palmer who hadn’t received his moment in England’s last two matches finally saw his chance come when he was introduced in the game against Slovenia. The Blues’ forward introduction saw him make a big difference and create a few goalscoring chances.

He also came close to scoring a goal but Jan Oblak denied his efforts. England have been a lacklustre side showing no enthusiasm and winning only once in their three Group games. The forward was expected to be an x-factor in Gareth Southgate’s squad for the Euro 2024 but lack of minutes on the pitch has been a pity for a player who scored 22 Premier League goals in his debut season as a Chelsea player.

Now, the 23-year-old will be attempting to take Bukayo Saka’s spot at the start of the Three Lions round of 16 encounter. And if he scores a goal, hopefully, he’ll get to perform his icy celebration, which we’ve previously seen other players execute aside from Palmer.

Let’s hope that Palmer’s performance against Slovenia convinced Southgate to give him a chance in the Three Lions round of 16.
