Juventus is keen on signing the talented Chelsea attacker Armando Broja
According to Italian publication Tutto Sport, Chelsea are about to receive offers for their talented attacker, Armando Broja, as Juventus are leading the race to sign him. AC Milan are also keen on the Albanian marksman.
After having to spend the second half of the previous season on loan at Fulham, Broja has now all but admitted that he wants to leave Chelsea and join a team where he can play a more significant role. He bemoaned Mauricio Pochettino‘s lack of trust as his previous head coach.
The 22-year-old was doing fine while playing in Chelsea’s youth ranks but since joining the Blues’ senior team in the summer of 2022, Broja only managed to appear for them 38 times and he could only pitch in with three goals during his appearances.
Chelsea legend Frank Lampard who gave the 22-year-old his professional debut at Chelsea, praised the forward player, describing him as “talented” during his loan stint with Southampton FC in the 2021–22 campaign. Lampard said:
“Well I gave him his debut at Chelsea so I did know him! He’s a very nice, very good lad and a very talented young boy. He’s fast, strong, has a real eye for goal and he’s a very, very good young player so I’m very aware of his strengths in a Southampton team playing very well.”
“He came into us at the start of the Covid times, trained with us and showed the attributes that I think you’re seeing now in the Premier League at Southampton.”
The attacking player has caught the eye of several elite clubs with his selection for the Albanian national team and he will play in Euro 2024 this year. He needs a team that can trust him and provide enough game time to work on his skills.
Even though Broja could initially need to be a backup for Dusan Vlahovic, Juventus believe he would fit in well with Thiago Motta’s coaching style and admires many of his traits.
Juventus will almost certainly be watching Broja at the Euros. Furthermore, even though his Chelsea contract expires in 2028, it’s possible that he will be departing the Blues after Albania’s participation in the competition comes to an end.

Chelsea are also keen on offloading the forward player, as they have a lot on their plate currently with the whole PSR situation and several targets already on their mind that are necessary to sign. It’s time to chop some heads off the block and Broja’s could be one that is sacrificed early on to aid with Enzo Maresca’s plans for the summer.
