Desperate Man Utd offer Sancho to Chelsea in bargain transfer

Premier League rivals Manchester United have launched a desperate attempt to sell the 2023/24 Champions League finalist with Borussia Dortmund, Jadon Sancho, as they offer his services to Chelsea.

The Blues are looking to bolster their offensive line following their struggles to score consistent goals and overdependence on Cole Palmer in the recently concluded season. Mykhaylo Mudryk has been struggling to find his feet at Stamford Bridge while Raheem Sterling did not look his peak for the majority of the season, and looking at such a situation, the Manchester Reds are looking to offer them England international Jadon Sancho in a bargain transfer this summer.

Jadon Sancho moved to Manchester United in 2021 following his magnificent performances in the Bundesliga, and they paid a hefty £73 million ($101 million) fee to acquire his services. However, the Manchester City academy graduate has struggled to find form at Old Trafford. His scuffle to find form, complemented by the situation with Erik ten Hag, led the club to consider an exit this summer. Sancho’s current employers are looking to leverage his purple patch at Signal Iduna Park to recoup a substantial portion of their investment in him.

Can Chelsea get the best out of Sancho?

Can Sancho find his spark at Chelsea?

United have been offering Jadon Sancho to Premier League clubs, including Chelsea, per TeamTalk. The Red Devils look ‘so desperate’ to offload the 24-year-old this summer that they have started inviting rivals to make a move.

On paper, this looks like a transfer destined to fail; however, it is easy to forget that Sancho is only twenty-four and has massive potential if he finds confidence. He showed his capacities for Dortmund last season, and he can replicate such form consistently if given enough backing and freedom to express himself.

Sancho is a technically elegant player capable of deciding games on his own, and Chelsea could be a destination where he revives his career and proves everyone wrong.

He does come with attitude issues tagged behind him, and the club needs to iron those out with the player and his representatives before any transfer materializes. If that happens, the Blues can pull one over United in Sancho by potentially securing a talented player at a reduced price.
