Chelsea 4-4 draw against Manchester voted as best Premier League game of last season by fans

Premier League fans chose Chelsea’s 4-4 draw against Manchester City as the last game of the campaign. The Blues rallied back to secure a point against the Premier League champions last term. The Premier League page shared a photo on Instagram.

It was a goal fest as Chelsea came from behind twice to settle for a 4-4 draw. City opened the scoring when Erling Haaland converted a penalty in the 25th minute, only for Chelsea to equalise after four minutes through Thiago Silva.

Sterling doubled the lead in the 37th minute, but it was once again Haaland who levelled the score. Man City went into halftime with a lead when a Manuel Ankanji header put the visitors ahead. Nicolas Jackson made sure Chelsea were taking a point from the game only for Rodri to put Pep Guardiola’s side ahead, which looked like a winning goal for the visitors.

However, the Blues were handed a penalty after a foul on substitute Armando Broja, and it was former Manchester City star Cole Palmer who stepped up to slot the ball calmly as both sides shared spoils.

This game had everyone on their toes because every moment was crucial for both sides, and this match was deservingly voted by fans as the Premier League game of the season. We witnessed everything from goals to the two best English sides pitting against each other and not showing signs of giving up.
