Chelsea winger Omari Hutchinson likely to leave Stamford Bridge this summer
Omari Hutchinson impressed on loan at Ipswich Town last season, but it appears that the winger is likely to leave Stamford Bridge this summer as the Blues do not want to loan him out again, with a permanent sale at about £25–30m seeming most likely.
According to TEAMtalk, the player will get a chance to persuade Enzo Maresca to keep him at Stamford Bridge. The 20-year-old had a fine season on loan at Ipswich Town, and the Tractor Boys are among the teams showing an interest in the Arsenal youth graduate.
Dutch clubs Ajax and Feyenoord have also shown an interest in signing Hutchinson, who has been strongly linked to several mid-to-lower-table Premier League outfits.
He joined Chelsea’s development system in July 2022, with Arsenal receiving an unknown but presumably minor compensation amount for the winger. Ipswich Town spent €1m to get Hutchinson on loan last season, hoping he would help them gain promotion to the Premier League.
Hutchinson has only played two senior games for Chelsea, and he is now set to go without adding to that tally since his chance to impress will almost certainly come in the pre-season.
However, Chelsea wants to to obtain up to £30m for Hutchinson in the forthcoming transfer window, with Bundesliga side Stuttgart competing with Premier League rivals for his services. Dutch clubs Ajax and Feyenoord have also shown an interest in signing a player who has been strongly linked to several mid-to-lower-table Premier League outfits.

Chelsea have used their option to extend Hutchinson’s contract until 2026, giving them more discretion in discussions with bidders and increasing the likelihood that they will receive the price they seek for his transfer.
However, Hutchinson appears to be struggling to stay at Chelsea; he is expected to go.
