Chelsea eye 16-goal Bundesliga star as cost-effective striker option
According to Florian Plettenberg, Chelsea have expressed interest in Maximilian Beier, a forward who plays TSG Hoffenheim and hope to recruit the 21-year-old.
Many other teams are interested as the Blues continue their persistent chase of elite young talents across the world, with Beier being the most recent addition to their extensive list of targets.
Chelsea are aiming to bring in some of the most promising young striker profiles available, and they have now set their sights on Maximilian Beier. The 21-year-old Hoffenheim striker is part of Germany’s Euros team and got a few minutes under his belt in the Switzerland game.
His 16 Bundesliga goals for Hoffenheim have undoubtedly placed him on the transfer map, with Chelsea reportedly interested in signing him. He has a €30 million release clause.
The striker is yet to make a choice, but if Chelsea’s interest is genuine, they will continue their persistent chase. Regarding the pursuit of a striker, the Blues have sought several names: Aston Villa’s Jhon Duran, whose release clause stands at £40m; Atletico Madrid’s Samu Omordion, whose release clause is £85m; Napoli’s forward Victor Osimhen, whose release clause could cost as much as £109.7m
