Agent reveals Victor Osimhen’s ‘most likely destination’ as Chelsea continue to follow Napoli star

Victor Osimhen’s agent confirms the striker is most likely to join the Premier League amid Chelsea links

Agent Andrea D’Amico has spoken about Victor Osimhen‘s next destination and reveals it is most likely to be a Premier League club as Chelsea continue to show interest in signing the striker.

The Blues have long been keen on acquiring the 24-year-old since his breakthrough season when he led Napoli to the Scudetto. However, last season, the Serie A club endured a poor campaign, while Osimhen himself didn’t have a good season.

Now his future remains uncertain, and it appears the Nigerian is open to a move away from Napoli, with Arsenal also interested in signing the striker, though his release clause could prove to be difficult. Osimhen has a £113m clause in his contract.

Meanwhile, his agent has further commented on Osimhen’s future revealing a few Premier League clubs that have continued to show their interest, speaking to Radio Marte further via Mirror:

“In any case, I believe that the most likely destination for Osimhen is always the Premier League, with more than one club that may be interested.”

Ever since Chelsea reduced their interest and confirmed they might not pursue the striker, there haven’t been enough reports to indicate that Chelsea are certainly going to sign Osimhen. However, many things happen behind closed doors, therefore we don’t know if the Blues are really interested in signing him.

Victor Osimhen could join a Premier League club.

His agent certainly seems to be trying to set the cat among the pigeons with these Premier League claims; maybe there are other clubs such as Arsenal, but one key issue could be his massive release clause.

However, this is a transfer market, and anything can happen. Thus we will have to wait until the end and see what transpires, as we have a long way to go and we can witness many surprising signings.
