“Someone take this guy’s phone”- Chelsea teammate reacts to Marc Cucurella’s hilarious John Cena joke

Noni Madueke reacts to the Instagram post of Chelsea star Marc Cucurella after Brighton win

In a thread of pictures from the win against Brighton, Chelsea star Marc Cucurella also included a picture of former WWE World Champion John Cena in his Instagram post. That comes after Cena himself, as is his nature of posting random pictures without context on the photo-sharing app, posted a picture of Cucurella back in October.

Speaking of the win in itself, it was a statement victory from Mauricio Pochettino’s boys as they still stay in the reckoning for European football for next season. Goals from Cole Palmer (obviously) and Christopher Nkunku ensured that Danny Welbeck’s late strike did not lead to Chelsea losing points on the coast.

With one more game to go, we can only hope for the boys to recover well and beat Bournemouth this Sunday. Here is what Cucurella posted on Instagram to which, Noni Madueke had a hilarious comment, “someone take this guys phone man” (sic).

Go on, Marc!

The camaraderie in the squad, as evidenced by the playful interactions on social media, is a positive sign. It shows a united front and a group of players who are enjoying their football, something that can only bode well for the future under Pochettino.

Cucurella, who has had his fair share of challenges this season, seems to be in good spirits, and his inclusion of John Cena in the celebration post is a light-hearted reminder of the fun side of football. As the season wraps up, it’s clear that the team is not only focused on results but also on building a strong, positive team spirit.

These are the things that Poch would have surely been working on behind the scenes. A strong team spirit is crucial for maintaining morale and ensuring that the players remain motivated and united heading into the next season.
