Mauricio Pochettino provides a cryptic reply for Chelsea summer plans
Chelsea will once again go into the summer window, attempting to strengthen some areas and build a solid lineup ahead of next season to challenge for trophies, and this time Mauricio Pochettino will hope to have his input during the summer transfer window.
Though the Blues did not acquire any players in January, the board and sporting director have thus far taken judgements regarding additions for the team this summer. As a result, we can anticipate the club making smart acquisitions this summer rather than going overboard with spending. The Blues’ priority signing will be acquiring a striker, and they will look to other areas where they need to sign a player.
After investing a significant amount of money during previous transfer windows, they will also need to abide by the Financial Fair Play regulation this time. There have been many expensive additions by Chelsea, which has drawn criticism. therefore in order to assemble a stronger team, the board will need to make better choices.
Pochettino will also have his say during the transfer window, and he hopes the board will also listen to his transfer ideas to help the manager find a more experienced player. Speaking to the reporter, he further said via Fabrizio Romano:
“That is the club’s decision. We will be there if they need help.”
This time, we must exercise rationality, and Pochettino need to have input in the transfer market so that he can bring players in and expedite the club’s progress. Although our players are settling in and will be better equipped the following season, we will still need to make some additions to cover a few positions. We should be good if we can maintain Fofana and Lavia fit and on the pitch and it should be enough to avoid heavu spending the summer.

You should avoid unseating this squad since it is still getting established, as Arsene Wenger once said “There are times when keeping your player is more important than buying new players.” If we must purchase, we should only purchase only a few, and they should be skilled players. Limit the amount you buy and sell. Keep the core, improve it, and we will keep making more points next season.
