John Terry makes transfer advice to Chelsea board after Mauricio Pochettino exit

Former Chelsea captain John Terry shares his feelings after Mauricio Pochettino’s exit from the club yesterday. The former defender took to Instagram and posted a photo of the Argentine with the caption, ‘’I hope we don’t sign or sell any player until we get a manager in.’’

After a full-season review under Pochettino, Chelsea finally announced that they would be parting ways with the former Espanyol manager, which shocked everyone, from fans to pundits. It was surprising news and was least expected given the Blues finished the campaign on a strong note.

Pochettino was also well respected among the players and former players because his work was enough to showcase that he should continue as the club manager for next season as well. But the board had other ideas.

Pochettino did what he had to do, and now he is leaving with much respect from the club after leaving them in the right position. He helped young players develop and gain Premier League experience, gave chances to every individual, who showed signs of progress under him.

This is an upsetting event because it demonstrates that the club doesn’t seem to be making better judgements. Terry, a former player, has stated his view before the club names a new manager because we need a manager who should know which players he likes and does not desire before we enter the summer transfer window.

Many former and current players show discontent with Mauricio Pochettino leaving Chelsea.

It is going to be very crucial because Chelsea will have to get their next manager right who can continue the progress from where Pochettino left off; otherwise, their bad decisions will backfire badly and everything will go down the drain.

The club will also have to take care of their financial situation, as they will have to generate some income before the start of the new season. So we’re heading into another tricky summer where there will be many big decisions that will decide the club’s fate next season.
