Chelsea are ready to go to extreme lengths to sign Barcelona’s dream transfer in the summer. The Blues are prepared to spend massively to sign Estevao Willian from Brazilian club Palmeiras. The highly-rated young player has been making waves for his side this season.
According to Goal Brazil, Chelsea are ready to present a €65 million (£56 million or $70 million) offer to the Brazilians, which will be too good to reject, and if the proposal is accepted, then Willian will become the biggest transfer in Brazilian football, surpassing Palmeiras’ sale of Endrick.
Willian’s performance this season has given him the new name ‘Messinho’ as his playing style is similar to that of the great Lionel Messi. However, the Blues will face competition from Barcelona, who see the 17-year-old as their dream signing, but their financial situation could act as a hurdle in pursuit of the young sensation.
Chelsea will need to move more quickly if they hope to sign Willian because he is among the select few players of his quality who have garnered accolades for his outstanding ability. Willian has great line-driving ability. Think of Neymar’s discipline, less ostentation, and amazing focus to just drive and cause disruptions.
A player with a lot of confidence and the capacity to alter the course of the game on his own is what Chelsea needs. He is the most talented talent in Brazil. Bigger than Endrick; forget about Moscardo and Vitor Roque. With Estevão’s ceiling, he will be the world’s top winger in the future.
If people have watched him play, they will realise how good he is, and this is the reason Chelsea are ready to go to extreme lengths to acquire his services. The Blues don’t want to miss out on such a hugely talented star, as they have already done with Endrick.
So it will be interesting to see when the Blues will table the offer because it’s too good to be rejected, and the Brazilian club will be tempted by it.
