Fabrizio Romano reveals Estevao Willian Cheslea deal will be valid until 2032
Chelsea have landed one of the most prominent Brazilian players for a fee of €34 million ($37 million), with performance-related add-ons potentially taking the total to a figure in the region of €67 million.
Fabrizio Romano further revealed that the contract Willian will sign will be valid until 2032, and the forward will be eligible to join the club in 2025 when he turns 18. The Blues have been after Willian for over a month, and the deal seems to have come to fruition.
The Blues have been active in their chase of highly-regarded Brazilian players, and they have once again acquired a talented player. However, this time Chelsea has acquired a guy with the highest ceiling who has the potential to be among the best players in football history.
Following his breakout season the previous year, Willian was elevated to Palmeiras’ senior squad. He has since established himself as the team’s pillar and has taken on a more prominent role. His ability to alter the course of the game is what sets him apart as a player; his performance speaks for itself.
He has everything to become a player who can reach the Lionel Messi level, and Chelsea will hope to nurture the forward carefully in order to continue his smooth growth. He will turn 18 next year and will be eligible to play in the league.
The Blues’ ambition to build a team that boasts young players with such a high ceiling is incredible, and the owners have done everything to keep the club moving in that direction. Willian is another recent prospect, along with Kendry Paez, who will be a future Chelsea player and represent the club.
