£35m Chelsea star bids emotional farewell to ‘brother’ Thiago Silva

Nicolas Jackson shares emotional message on Instagram story to departing Chelsea veteran Thiago Silva

Thiago Silva offered a farewell address to the fans following Chelsea’s 2-1 victory against Bournemouth in their last 2023–24 season match. The defender was overcome with emotion as he spoke, crying uncontrollably throughout.

It was Silva’s last match as a Blues player, and the defender received many heartwarming messages from teammates and fans following his exit. Nicolas Jackson also wished the Brazilian defender for his future on his Instagram story with the caption ‘’Growing up watching now, teammate and brother, good luck legend,’’ with a crown and emoji.

For Silva, who joined the team as a veteran player and rose to become one of the best players ever, it was an incredibly emotional day. Although it was an unexpected signing from Chelsea, at the age of 35, Silva proved to us that he was still at the top of his game and played for us for five years.

It’s serious since athletes who are 35 years old typically have retired or are in separate leagues. We hope that other young players will take a cue from Silva’s dedication to the game, who demonstrated to us that age is nothing more than a number when one has a passion for the game.

With a promising career ahead of him, Jackson, who is 22 years old, has undoubtedly benefited a lot from Silva as a young player. For a young player participating in his first Premier League season, the Senegalese striker’s 14 goals in all competitions in his first season with the Blues is fairly impressive.

Thiago Silva bids farewell to Chelsea fans for the last time.

Next season, he will be more than ready to take the league by storm because he has all the attributes to become one of the finest strikers in the league, and once he refines his finishing in front of the goal, we can see him challenge Erling Haaland for the Golden boot.

However, we must be patient with him as he fosters and hope that he emerges from the game a much-improved player since we will need him to score many goals next season and help the challenge for trophies.
