Transfer News: Chelsea target’s agent holds rounds of talks with interested clubs in Sporting-Benfica clash

Viktor Gyokeres’ agent Hasan Cetinkaya set to hold talks with interested clubs for signing of Swedish striker

As per transfer expert Fabrizio Romano Viktor Gyokeres’ agent, Hasan Çetinkaya was in the stands to watch the Sporting CP 2-1 win against Benfica in Lisbon. The Swedish has attracted interest from many European clubs, including Chelsea.

His agent will hold talks with interested clubs, with the striker’s price tag being around €100 million. The Blues have made no secret in their search for an experienced centre-forward for next season. The Blues have looked at Ivan Toney and Napoli talisman Victor Osimhen, and now Gyokeres’ recent form has attracted the attention of the West Londoners.

Gyokere’s explosive form this season has seen him produce 22 goals in 25 league matches, which has garnered the eye of numerous major European teams because the centre-forward is anticipated to be in great demand during the next summer transfer window.

The Blues may be able to get the 25-year-old for a cheaper price than Osimhen and Toney. Gyokere’s current form makes him one of the most appreciated strikers this season, and it’s unlikely he will remain at the Portuguese club.

Should Chelsea go for Gyokeres next season?

Gyokeres has been a monster this season, and his tally is enough to prove how incredible he has been this campaign. During his time at Reading, the centre-forward was an unknown figure, but since his move to Sporting, he has refined his game to the next level and has become one of the top strikers this campaign. He has shown no sign of stopping.

Chelsea needs a striker of Gyokeres calibre who boasts every skillset the Blues want in a striker next season. He is physically strong, possesses great box awareness, helps build up, and has incredible striking prowess. In addition to being less expensive than his other targets, Osimhen and Toney, this attacker is exactly what Chelsea needs.

We will be in the running for every trophy next season if we are able to sign a productive striker. Gyokeres meets all the requirements, therefore perhaps the Premier League is the right place for him to establish himself. It remains to be seen what will happen next, and we will undoubtedly have competition for his signing as many clubs will be in position.
