Thiago Silva send motivating message to Chelsea teammates vs Manchester City FA Cup game
Chelsea centre-back Thiago Silva has sent a three-word message on his Instagram post ahead of the pivotal match against Manchester City in the FA Cup semi-final in Wembley. The centre-back will be hoping to be in the lineup to face City.
The Blues’ defender posted a photo with his Chelsea teammate on Instagram with the caption Tomorrow. All together blues’’ with a blue and praying emoji. The Brazilian contract is set to expire after the end of the season, and for now, it seems unlikely he will extend his deal for another year.
And if he decides to leave the club in the next season, Chelsea will hope to give him a fitting farewell with a trophy he has not won since joining us. Silva has played in three domestic cup finals and has yet to win a trophy.
If the club manages to beat City, they will either meet Manchester United or Coventry in the final. Since joining Chelsea in 2019, Silva has served as the foundation of the team’s defence. He has strengthened our defence despite getting older, and he will be an important member of the team until the end of the campaign.
Silva is one of the more seasoned players who is looked up to by his colleagues. His presence on the pitch benefits us much since he dictates plays from the back and encourages his teammates. He is regarded by all the younger players as a father figure.
His message on social media is another example of how he has been one of the leaders for us on and off the pitch. He will be in contention to play against City in the semi-final, as Chelsea will once again try to nullify this super Pep Guardiola team.

Mauricio Pochettino has yet to taste a defeat against Guardiola this season, and maybe the FA Cup game is going to be another chance to turn the odds around and win the game. It is certainly going to be a difficult game, but we have a squad that is ready to give their blood and sweat on the pitch.
