Mauricio Pochettino pinpoints 2 areas as Cole Palmer’s ‘best skills’ but says Chelsea star ‘can still improve’

Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino highlights the star Cole Palmer’s best skills and also says that he still has room for improvement

Mauricio Pochettino addressed the media following Chelsea’s 4-3 victory over Manchester United, thanks to end-moment goals by Cole Palmer. The Blues’ head coach had to try to sum up what had just happened at Stamford Bridge.

Cole Palmer inspired Chelsea in stoppage time by scoring a remarkable and thrilling hat-trick in the final two minutes of stoppage time. When the ball passed Andre Onana and gave the Blues three points, there was a huge sigh of relief at Stamford Bridge.

The game was truly a roller-coaster ride for the team as well as the fans. Pochettino arrived in the media room less than an hour after the game had ended and held his post-match press conference.

Pochettino said some interesting things about the match during the press conference

Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino has revealed Cole Palmer’s best quality following his hat-trick in the 4-3 victory over Manchester United on Thursday night. The Chelsea boss said Palmer’s best skill is his capacity to deal with pressure.

“His best skill I think, one of the best skills is his mentality, the capacity to deal with the pressure. He’s young, it’s his first season playing very consistently. It’s amazing the way he deals with the pressure.”

“He can be a very good player. With the performance today, it’s impossible to say he’s not a top player, no? But he can still improve.”

Mauricio Pochettino took to the media to address the criticism they face from the Chelsea fan base. Their performances in the past have not been much of a delight, with Cole Palmer still lacking in a few areas. Hence, the blue boss also said he still has room for improvement. After the United win, the boss expressed his opinions on the questioning by fans, saying:

“That is the passion our fans need to see. I need to be calm. At the end of the game, of course, show passion like I showed it today – fantastic. “We need to connect because if not it’s tough for the players”

It has been a rough season for the Blue boss

The Blue Boss has had it rough this season. Chelsea drawing the game against Burnley led to more questions from fans as the Blues failed to grab three points even against a 10-man Burnley.
