Morgan Rogers reveals he didn’t copy Chelsea star Cole Palmer celebration

In a 2-2 draw with Aston Villa, when Morgan Rogers gave the hosts a two-goal lead in the first half, the player was pictured copying Cole Palmer’s celebration, rubbing his shoulders and shivering in the same manner that the Chelsea star has been doing for the Blues this season.

However, the youngster revealed he didn’t copy Palmer’s celebration and revealed that he was in-fact, the original owner of that celebration. It appeared Rogers was mocking Palmer, who had become famous for his celebration.

The 21-year-old Blues ace has enjoyed a breakout season, scoring 20 goals in the Premier League, and is easily pour most lethal finisher in front of the goal. Whenever he finds the back of the net, he folds his hands around his shoulder like he is feeling cold, and the celebration has been named ‘’Cold Palmer.’’

But Rogers’ intention wasn’t to mock Palmer, as after the game he revealed to the press that it was first his celebration and told reporters via Football.London:

“He definitely copied me. It’s my celebration. Check the timeline; I did it first.”
