Levi Colwill left impressed with Chelsea teammate Cole Palmer
Levi Colwill was left impressed with Cole Palmer’s performance against Everton after the forward scored four goals, taking his tally to 20 goals this season in the Premier League. Appreciating Palmer’s four goals, Colwill shared his photo on his Instagram story with the caption, ‘’Our kid is insane.’’
Palmer’s opening goal came in the 13th minute of the game; he added another goal after just five minutes. The former Manchester City forward completed his hat-trick in the 29th minute. Nicolas Jackson added the fourth goal.
Palmer was once again on the scoresheet after converting a penalty before Alfie Gilchrist completed the 6-0 mauling of Everton. This was one of the most dominant displays from the Blues under Mauricio Pochettino.
Scoring four goals is certainly one of the top achievements in anyone’s football career, and what Palmer did was praiseworthy. Ever since he arrived here, he has been banging on goals left and right, and it seems like he has sorted out the Blues goalscoring issues.
Colwill lauding Palmer’s performance indicates how the forward has taken on the Blues’ goalscoring responsibilities this season; whenever the other players fail to step up, Palmer always produces something out of nothing.
The Blues are currently positioned ninth in the standings, but with a victory, they might move up to sixth, giving them a great opportunity to qualify for the European stage. European qualification will also ease some pressure on the Argentine manager following last two draws against Sheffield United and Burnley.
Additionally, Palmer always steps up to assume responsibility for us when we are having issues in the games. At the club, which is undergoing reconstruction, he has been flourishing, and the pace of our progress has quickened since his arrival. With 20 goals so far this season, Palmer is now tied with Erling Haaland in scoring tally in the Premier League.
