Chelsea star Armando Broja issues 4-word verdict on return to Albanian national team

Chelsea star Armando Broja talks about Albania return

This season, Chelsea loanee Armando Broja has struggled to get minutes on the pitch. The striker finally recovered from his knee injury and returned to action after the start of the season, but the forward suffered a recurrence of injuries and has now been loaned to Fulham.

However, since coming to the Cottagers, Broja has barely been used, which means Fulham will have to pay Chelsea £4 million under the terms of his January loan deal. Nevertheless, the 22-year-old received a call-up to represent his national team.

The Blues academy player posted on Instagram with the caption ‘’Good to be back’’ with worshipping and Albanian national flag emojis. Since picking up a knee injury last season, Broja has failed to put on a convincing performance.

The Blues then decided to loan him to Fulham, where he could get some playing time, but that hasn’t been the case, and the striker continues to fight for his spot. Chelsea are open to selling Broja next season, as they are keen on making a profit and have slapped a £50 million price tag.

Hopefully, Broja find his form during international games

It’s unfortunate that Broja hasn’t been able to contribute to his full ability at Chelsea; it had been hoped that the Albanian striker and Nicolas Jackson would provide strong competition for the No. 9 spot. However, the Blues believed that loaning him would be a wiser move.

It will be difficult for Chelsea to turn a profit on the specific price tag they have put on Broja if he doesn’t play throughout this season. He will have more competition for playing time if we acquire another striker, so it won’t make sense to bring him to Chelsea for the upcoming campaign.

Jackson is in his debut season in the Premier League, though he has been in incredible form. however we won’t be able to rely on him all the time, therefore we’ll need to find another option to rival the Senegalese. Given his lacklustre performance throughout his time at Fulham thus far, Broja appears to be the least likely choice. For the next season, it will be interesting to see what his future holds.
