Chelsea most likely club for Victor Osimhen next summer

Chelsea have been given a massive boost in their pursuit of Victor Osimhen. The striker has been sought by many top European clubs, but the Blues seem to be in the driver’s seat.

According to Italian outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport, (h/t Express), Paris Saint-Germain are desperate to land the prolific striker next summer but faces competition from Chelsea and Arsenal.

However, the Blues have been touted as his preferred destination for next summer. The West Londoners have made no secret that they are keen on signing the Nigerian forward.

But since penning down the new contract with Napoli, the forward now has a release clause that interested clubs will have to activate in order to sign him. Meanwhile, the Serie A club is already exploring Osimhen replacements and has added the likes of Joshua Zirkzee, Jonathan David, Victor Boniface, and Santiago Gimenez to the list.

We have the great advantage of signing Osimhen.

Chelsea should do all in their power to sign Osimhen, who has also made it clear that he dreams of playing in the Premier League. PSG might entice him with a big salary and could be ready to trigger his release clause, but if he wants competition, then he should come to Chelsea, who are in dire need of a prolific striker.

Osimhen could choose Chelsea over PSG and Arsenal next summer.

We also face competition from Arsenal, who can land the 24-year-old, but we have great chances of signing him, and we shouldn’t miss him. He has been our priority target, and Chelsea did everything in their power to land their primary target.

This time, though, it might happen with Osimhen, whose arrival elevates us to the top of the goal-scoring hierarchy. With the kind of support he will receive from our players, we can anticipate that he will score at least 20 goals a season, given his exceptional goal-scoring prowess.
