According to Tuttosport newspaper, Torino have now targeted Chelsea striker Armando Broja. This comes after a fallout between coach Ivan Juric and Nemanja Radonjić.
Radonjic is anticipated to leave the Serie A club in the winter transfer window after a fallout with the manager, and he is also not expected to be in the lineup to face Atlanta. If the Croatian decides to leave, Torino could make a move for the Chelsea striker in January.
The Serie A club is looking to make a January move for the 22-year-old striker but could have to battle the likes of Fulham and West Ham United. Mauricio Pochettino has already made his intention clear towards the Albanian striker, who is part of the Argentine manager’s plan this season.
This could mean the Blues won’t entertain any offers from any clubs, and as per the report, they are set to reject Fulham’s January approach for the striker.
Broja has appeared in six Premier League games this season after returning from a knee injury and has a goal to his name already and the 22-year-old will have an important role to play this season.
Despite not playing enough games, the striker has attracted plenty of interest from European clubs, which indicates how highly he is rated, and Chelsea shouldn’t let such talent go to other clubs.
Despite his lack of game action, Broja is still an essential member of the team. Since he recently recovered from a knee injury, we don’t anticipate that he will quickly rediscover his form. However, he will play a significant role in our team’s success, and Chelsea are prepared to reject an offer from Fulham since they value him highly.
However, Chelsea ought to think about loaning Broja to a Premier League team where he may get tangible playing time if they acquire a new striker in January. It’s a shame that Broja’s injury from the previous season occurred when Chelsea needed an all-around striker because he has all the makings of an outstanding striker. Let’s hope he finds his groove this season.
