Chelsea defender urges his teammates to improve in this aspect against Everton

Axel Disasi asks Chelsea teammates to be more aggressive vs Everton

Chelsea will now prepare to face Everton when they make a trip to Goodison Park on Sunday and Axel Disasi has a piece of advice. After a midweek 2-1 defeat to Manchester United, the Blues will hope to overturn their fortunes.

Before the game, Chelsea summer signing Axel Disasi advised players to be more aggressive in such games as they continue their development at a fast pace.

The Blues still struggle to eke out wins regularly due to their lack of composure in the games. Against Manchester United, they were outclassed, while against Newcastle, they lost the physical battle.

However, they made amends against Brighton & Hove Albion, but in the closing stages of match, it appeared they might throw the lead under a truck but somehow managed to secure a hard win.

Facing Everton will be another big task. The Toffees defeated the Magpies 3-0 recently and are fighting in the relegation zone. Now Disasi has urged his teammates to be more aggressive and told Chelsea’s website:

“We have to be more aggressive all over the pitch and show we are growing day by day. We have to build our confidence. We haven’t succeeded in winning two or three games in a row. When we do this, it will give us confidence. We have to stay positive and stay focused on the work we do.’’

We must implement what Disasi advised since, in certain games, we must be more assertive to prevail in a physical war. After defeating Tyneside, Everton will be fired up and eager to win again. We are playing a team that is fighting for relegation and will give us a tough time because they will have home support, so this will be a critical game for us.

These are the kinds of games that put our perseverance and dedication to the test, and ideally, the players will rise to the occasion and provide a convincing victory. It will be captivating to watch how Chelsea’s players handle the physicality of Everton.
