Miguel Almiron and Alexander Isak are set to feature for Newcastle United against Chelsea
Newcastle United fans have been handed a double boost ahead of their match against Chelsea on Saturday. Both teams are pumped up and will be looking to win this match as we ehad into the busy December schedule.
According to Craig Hope, a Daily Mail north-east football correspondent, (h/t Football.London) the Magpies will welcome two quality players, Miguel Almiron and Alexander Isak, ahead of the Chelsea game.
Sean Longstaff remains doubtful with an ankle injury, but the return of Almiron and Isak will be great news for Newcastle, who have been blighted with injuries.
Chelsea have also been provided massive news for the Newcastle game as Christopher Nkunku and Mauricio Pochettino have revealed the Frenchman could return against Newcastle, but it remains to be seen as nothing has been confirmed yet.
The West Londoners will go back into this game on the back of an enthralling 4-4 draw with Manchester City before the November international break.
After the international break, the Blues will aim to carry on where they left off in their last five Premier League games, having only suffered one defeat. The team’s major concern was scoring goals, but it seems to have vanished after the club scored eight goals in the last two games. Newcastle have lost each of their last two games in all competitions, but they will hope to bounce back when they welcome the visitors on Saturday.
We have improved overall this season, and we must give our all to neutralise Newcastle’s aggressive style of play. We will need to maintain our composure on the ball throughout the entire game since they play one of the best pressing games. If any of their players return, it will have no impact because we have come together as a strong team and have demonstrated our ability to take on any opposition.
