“Chelsea are going to come good”- Jamie O’Hara sets realistic aim for Pochettino’s men in the Premier League this season

Former Tottenham Hotspur player O’Hara backs Chelsea to finish on a positive note this season

Former Tottenham Hotspur player Jamie O’Hara believes Chelsea are bound to come good this season following their 2-2 draw with Arsenal last week.

Chelsea’s start to the new season looked like it would be another long season after the club struggled to secure wins. However, their victories over Fulham, Burnley and a draw against Arsenal have shown the club is now heading in the right direction.

Chelsea’s performance against the Gunners indicated the Blues have made plenty of progress under the Argentine manager, and if they continue in the same vein, a top-four finish looks possible.

Given the injuries to some of the team’s important players, their comeback will be a huge boost for the Blues, notably Christopher Nkunku, whose presence will increase the team’s likelihood of scoring goals.

O’Hara feels the Blues are heading in the right direction, and once they pick pace, they will certainly come good, (h/t Football.London) as he said on Sky Sports via Football Daily:

“Chelsea are going to come good. Teams are going to take points from each other. Tottenham are going to lose games; we haven’t lost yet, but we will. Manchester City are going to lose games, as are Arsenal and Liverpool. It’s about who can be consistent and limit the mistakes.”

We are starting to build momentum, and our performance in the draw with Arsenal served as a heads-up to other clubs that we are coming for them all. We are assembling a team that is prepared to compete for a top-four slot, but if other teams drop points, we might become title candidates if we maintain our current level of play in subsequent contests.
