Chelsea ace Reece James praises Real Madrid ace Jude Bellingham for match-winning performance against Barcelona
Chelsea right-back Reece James applauded his national teammate and Real Madrid superstar Jude Bellingham for his match-winning performance against Barcelona after the midfielder scored two goals to steer Los Blancos to their first El Clasico win of the season.
Bellingham has been a statement signing for Real this season. The midfielder has produced 13 goals this season for Los Blancos, equaling Cristiano Ronaldo’s record of 10 goals in the first 10 matches. He once again dominated the headlines when the midfielder struck two goals to hand Real a 2-1 win against their rivals Barcelona, as Madrid solidified their top spot in La Liga.
Chelsea were once linked with a move for Bellingham but opted to sign Enzo Fernandez last January. Many would argue it should have been the England midfielder, but it’s acceptable as Fernandez has been incredible for us as well.
After the win, the 20-year-old Real Madrid posted a photo celebrating with Antonio Rudiger and Joselu on Instagram with the caption, “This is Real Madrid.” Many of his followers praised his performance, and among them was Chelsea star James, who has played alongside him for the Three Lions commented, “Another day at the office.”
What a signing he has been for Real. Scoring goals in almost every game, including clutch moments, is an incredible thing. Scoring a brace in your first El Clasico is a massive statement of a performance, and Bellingham is sort of a big-game player. Real have a gem at their disposal, and if he continues with his performance, he will certainly win the Ballon d’Or soon.

We have our own top midfielder, Enzo Fernandez, who has brilliantly laid a marker with his top performance in every game. Both are top midfielders, and we don’t regret not signing Bellingham when we had a chance. Our focus is on developing Fernandez more.
