Chelsea are considering sending Mykhaylo Mudryk out on loan in January
Chelsea are exploring clubs to send Mykhaylo Mudryk on loan in January in order to help him get back to his form after the forward has struggled to get going at the club since joining the Blues from Ukrainian club Shakhtar Donetsk.
According to Football. London, Chelsea will look to find a club for Mudryk in January if he does not turn around his faltering career at Stamford Bridge in the near future.
The Ukrainian international hasn’t put in a solid performance yet to convince Mauricio Pochettino to start him, and the Argentinian manager has opted to use Ben Chilwell on the left wing as a consequence.
The 22-year-old has made 21 appearances for the Blues but is yet to find the back of the net and now seems to be losing his place under the Argentine manager as well. However, Mudryk was in the starting lineup against Bournemouth but couldn’t conjure enough to play the full game as he was replaced by Cole Palmer in the second half.
If he fails to elevate things at the club, however, Christopher Nkunku’s return might reduce his playing time because Pochettino will undoubtedly prefer a player with more experience.
Mudryk undoubtedly possesses every ability required to succeed at Chelsea, but he hasn’t given himself enough opportunities to demonstrate them, and with Pochettino’s lack of faith in him, his career might suffer as a result.
Additionally, we can’t hold it against him because he hasn’t played enough minutes on the pitch so far this season. When he did receive an opportunity against Bournemouth, Mudryk did show flashes of his immense talent. But the Ukrainian winger wasn’t fully into the game and was frequently left alone on the left side. He must be more involved in the game and perfect his positioning. Mudryk is a terrific player, and hopefully, he will get better over time.

Besides that, a loan move to a team with a reputation for developing young players is possible for him to regain his form. We still have until January, so it seems premature to make a judgement at this point. Instead, let’s wait and see if Mudryk can raise the bar.
