Fenerbahce handed opportunity to land 22-year-old Chelsea outcast

Chelsea star Callum Hudson-Odoi is now attracting interest from Fenerbahce

Chelsea have made it clear that Callum Hudson-Odoi doesn’t have a future at the club and the 22-year-old is also open to leaving the club before the transfer deadline. According to Takvim, (h/t Express) Hudson-Odoi’s future remains uncertain, with Turkish side Fenerbahce having been offered an opportunity by Chelsea to sign him.

It is also understood that the youngster has only one year left on his contract, which has been offered to the Turkish side, but Fenerbahce have yet to decide on it. With time running out this summer, we can hopefully move the Englishman on.

The 22-year-old emerged from Chelsea’s academy, but his talent has gone unnoticed of late, which has led to his being told to find a club elsewhere. The forward was loaned to Bayern Leverkusen to reignite his career last season, but his unconvincing performance saw him return to the Blues.

As per the Evening Standard, the youngster is desperate to part ways with the club, and given he is just 22. Currently at Chelsea there is no hope to get game time, it will be logical for him to find another club to get his career back on track.

Hudson-Odoi is also ready to lower his wages to join Premier League rivals Fulham, but the Cottagers face competition from Everton and Nottingham Forest. The Blues have set an £8 million asking price for the winger but have grown annoyed that Fulham are not willing to match it.

Callum Hudson-Odoi is desperate to leave Chelsea.

He has become a peripheral player at Chelsea and does not appear to have a long term future at the club. Despite Fulham withdrawing from the race, there are still options available for the Englishman. It makes sense for Hudson-Odoi to quit Chelsea in order to advance his career. He is young and talented, and with the right manager, he will undoubtedly cause a stir in the right setup.

Remaining at Chelsea will see him just waste his talent. He ought to identify a team and depart for his own benefit so he can get plenty of minutes on the field before the transfer deadline passes.
